If the vessel is for personal recreational use, no license is required for the owner to operate it in St. Vincent and the Grenadines waters.

However, if the vessel is a commercial vessel, such as a charter boat, then the operator would need to obtain a captain's license or other relevant licenses required by the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Maritime Administration (SVGMA) or other regulatory agencies.

In addition, if the vessel is going to be operated outside of St. Vincent and the Grenadines waters, the operator would need to comply with the licensing requirements of the countries or regions where the vessel will be sailing.
